A blend of twelve month barrel-aged keeved cider from 2021 with naturally sweet keeved cider from the 2022 season. The addition of Brown's Apple brings refreshing acidity to complete the balance. This delightful Cider from Martin at Pilton Cider was made in collaboration with chef Merlin Labron-Johnson, for his Michelin starred restaurant Osip in Bruton, Somerset.
Pilton are artisan producers at the heart of Somerset's ‘cider-land’ making whole juice, sparkling cider by the old English method of keeving. Apples are collected from traditional cider orchards in and around the parish of Pilton, and slowly transformed from this full flavoured fruit into unique naturally sweet ciders. Finally, different yeasts and other fruits are weaved in and barrel‑aging techniques are used to create a variety of small batch drinks. Pilton Cider are based in Shepton Mallet.
