We are Elston & Son, a small family run company who want to share our love and passion for the local and independent Artisan food and drink producers from around the West Country. We launched our online store late in 21 and were overwhelmed to be awarded a Silver Retailer Award by Taste of the West after only a couple of months of trading. Next year we are aiming for Gold.
We operate online focusing on Drinks, especially our range of South West Ciders, and Cheese. We also offer Hampers and the fun bits that can go in them, as well as the opportunity for you to create your own Hamper.
Our aim is to offer a collection of all the best producers, allowing you to buy Cheese to compliment your Cider or Beer together with West Country Spirits or Mixers and have them delivered to you at the same time wherever you are in the country.
We aim to link the past, present and future by celebrating traditional methods still being used today and championing the West Country producers and brands of the future.
We have started by supporting the producers and brands that we love and especially the smaller producers where possible. Thankfully, we have been warmly received by our community and are proud to have launched our site offering fantastic local food and drink.
Our plan is to keep growing because, as anyone who has ever visited this part of the world knows, there is no shortage of world-beating produce and producers in the Wonderful West Country. As a lot of folk in the South West seem to, in the Autumn you’ll also find us pressing apples for some home fermented cider as well as foraging the hedgerows to make some lovely infused spirits. A way to go yet till we start selling those!
