A miniature bottle of Papillon Mariposa Gin, perfect as a gift or as a way to sample. A full bodied smooth, sipping gin. Created using Papillon's signature gin, matured in an aged Pedro Ximenez sherry cask and named Mariposa for the sweet and rich Spanish PX sherry (Mariposa is Spanish for butterfly). It is complex, smooth and rounded with notes of butterscotch, vanilla, honey, dates and creme brûlée.
Papillon Dartmoor Distillery is the first of its kind within the Dartmoor National Park. Adam and Claire, the owners and distillers, both grew up here and enjoy sharing its special qualities through their small-batch gin. They named the Distillery Papillon because they donate 1% from every bottle to a local Butterfly Conservation project, and volunteer with them surveying/monitoring fritillaries in their local area on Dartmoor.
