Handpicked sloes from the hedgerows of East Dartmoor and Shute Farm, have been soaked in Papillion’s signature gin for a year, then lightly sweetened with some Dartmoor heather honey to create a delicious balance of tartness and sweetness. Papillon Dartmoor Distillery is the first of its kind within the Dartmoor National Park. Adam and Claire, the owners and distillers, both grew up here and enjoy sharing its special qualities through their small-batch gin. They named the Distillery Papillon because they donate 1% from every bottle to a local Butterfly Conservation project, and volunteer with them surveying/monitoring fritillaries in their local area on Dartmoor.
