Millie’s Magic is a well-balanced, subtly sweetened and moreish cider with a tannic finish, and is lightly sparkling. Made from traditional bittersweet and bittersharp cider apples (Dabinett, Yarlington Mill, Stoke Red) and a variety of unidentified apples from an old unsprayed orchard, the juice was fermented fully to dryness and then back-sweetened with Temple Cider's own pressed Dabinett apple juice to give a medium dry result. No added sugar or artificial sweetener. Millie's Magic is named after Temple Cider's crazy, characterful old rescue dog.
Temple Cider is a small-scale craft cider producer in West Dorset, close to the borders of both Devon and Somerset. The cider-making talent behind Temple Cider is Paul, ably assisted by Jo and their three rescue dogs. They strive to make the type of ciders that they love to drink, real, full-juice ciders that are clean, refreshing and interesting.
