Starting off with a spontaneously fermented fresh juice, this isn’t an apple juice alternative this is real low alcohol cider that gives everything its full alcohol siblings would.
Iford Cider is crushed on the Iford Estate just 7 miles south of Bath, near Bradford-on-Avon. A publican by trade, Joe decided he wanted to make cider the way he thought it was made, fresh juice, wild fermented with no weird stuff. Starting with the small ancient wild orchards dotted across the estate that were almost forgotten, then expanding to source and support other local growers; sustainable biodiversity are close to their hearts at Iford Cider.
Iford’s objective is really simple: to put fresh cider back on the map with wild fermented fresh juice, free of artificials and never from concentrate.
