A traditional single variety cider from Hecks cider in Street, Somerset. Morgan's Sweet is an early apple and produces a refreshing and light coloured cider. Morgan's Sweet was originally bred in Somerset in the 18th Century and once common throughout Somerset, Devon and Gloucestershire.
The Hecks family have been making traditional farmhouse cider in Somerset for six generations, since 1841. In 1896, they started to sell their cider from the farm shop in Street, where they are still based. They make their ciders and perrys by blending juice from apples and pears all grown locally in the family’s orchards. To read more about Hecks and its heritage click here to see our blog.
