Somerset Cider Brandy Company’s Ice Cider is made by freezing freshly pressed apple juice, and then removing the ice which leaves the remaining juice stronger with more intensive flavours. This juice is then fermented, creating a rich, sweet ice cider with a dry finish. Ice Cider can be drunk on its own, drunk as a dessert wine or used in cocktails. Bursting with aromas of baked apple and honey. Sweet honeyed start with a strong tannic backbone and long clean and pleasing sharpness to finish, very well balanced between the sweet and the tart with a full bodied, rich texture.
Awarded Gold and Best in Class at the British Cider Championships at the Bath and West May 23.
