This sparkling cider from Burrow Hill is a really lovely expression of the fruit and the orchards that it came from. A refreshing medium-dry sparkling cider that’s a blend of at least eleven varieties of vintage apples. A moreish, complex and balanced flavour. The blend of apple, tannin and light acidity begs for food: grilled, smokey and salty. The Guardian called it 'The cider-maker's craft at its best.'
The farm at Burrow Hill sits among 180 acres of cider apple and perry pear orchards at the base of Burrow Hill. The farm has been pressing cider and perry for over 200 years. In 1989 they were granted the UK’s first ever full cider-distilling license and they have been distilling award winning cider into Somerset Cider Brandy ever since.
