Cheddar Ales Gorge Best Bitter (great name) is brewed using the highest quality Pale ale, Maris Otter, Wheat, Crystal and Roasted malts and hopped with a blend of Challenger, Goldings and East Kent Goldings whole hops. A distinguished best bitter with warm malt flavours and a clean bitter finish.
Cheddar Ales began its artisan brewing activities in October 2006 and is based at Winchester Farm on the edge of Cheddar village, near the famous Cheddar Gorge, brewing award-winning ales on the slopes of the Mendip Hills.
