Thunderflower have produced a perfectly balanced, bitter-sweet apéritif cocktail, made for the adventurous and ready to drink. It has been made using their award winning Navy Strength Fireship 58 Dry Gin with one of the world's finest sweet vermouths in Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino, and the iconic Italian liqueur, Amaro Montenegro, made in Bologna using an unchanged secret recipe since 1885.
Traditionally equal parts gin, vermouth and Campari, the Negroni is said to have been invented in 1919 in Florence when Count Negroni insisted on a stronger Americano cocktail with gin to replace the normal soda water.
To Serve:
1. Fill a stirring glass with ice,
2. Pour 100ml of Negroni 58.
3. Stir 58 times or to your preferred dilution.
4. Pour over large ice in a rocks glass
5. Garnish with orange.
